Hoffmann Green and Eloy sign a partnership to develop carbon-free construction in Belgium

Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies announces the signing of a partnership with the Belgian group Eloy, for pilot ready-mix concrete and prefabrication applications.
The Eloy Group, which operates in construction and water treatment, has always been concerned about its environmental impact. The Liège-based company was one of the first to set up its own recycling park back in the 1990s. More recently, its ecocentre in Bierset has enabled it to compete for a prime position in markets where circularity is important. Eloy aims to be a sustainable player, and its cross-functional strategy includes the objective of reducing its environmental impact by 30% by 2027.
As an extension of this approach, Eloy has signed a partnership agreement with Hoffmann Green Cement under which the two companies will carry out specific technical tests and together develop concrete formulations based on Hoffmann Green Cement’s 0% clinker technologies.
The first pilot construction projects using Hoffmann cement in Belgium are scheduled for the first half of 2023 in the province of Liège, in order to test this new product while familiarising Eloy’s site teams. Eloy is thus becoming the first Belgian player to take immediate action in favour of 0% clinker cement and concrete construction.
