Hoffmann Green Cement signs a cement supply contract with the Alkern Group
Hoffman Green Cement announces the signature of a contract for the supply of its decarbonised cements, including a volume commitment of 14,000 tonnes until the end of 2027, with the Alkern Group, one of the French leaders in the prefabrication of concrete elements for low-carbon construction methods.
With sales of over 250 million by 2022 and more than 1,000 employees, the Alkern Group offers a wide range of products for the building, landscaping and public works markets in France and Belgium. Innovation, responsibility and proximity shape the Group’s raison d’être, and to take its eco-responsible approach even further, it has chosen Hoffmann Green Cement to supply it with 0%-carbon clinker cement to replace its traditional cement supply for some of the products it markets in France. Hoffmann cement will enable Alkern to meet its objective of reducing carbon emissions and preserving natural resources.
The Alkern Group will produce paving stones, kerbs and street furniture using Hoffmann cements.
