Hoffmann Green enters into a preliminary agreement with a partner with a view to signing a licensing contract in the State of Florida in the United States

Hoffmann Green announces that it has signed an agreement with a partner setting out the broad principles of an exclusive licensing agreement to build several Hoffmann units in Florida, a state in the south-east of the United States.
As part of theInflation Reduction Act (IRA), a major investment plan worth 370 billion dollars voted in 2022 in the United States to finance, over ten years, the country’s energy transition and achieve the objective of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50% in 2030 compared to 2005, Hoffmann Green and a partner have been in discussions for several months with the aim of decarbonising the construction sector in the State of Florida. After a series of tests that proved conclusive, the two companies reached an agreement setting out the main principles of a licensing contract to be signed by 31 March 2024.
This licensing agreement will lead to the construction of several Hoffmann plants in Florida, which will be built along the same lines as H2, Hoffmann Green’s second production unit based in Bournezeau. These plants will be financed and operated by the partner who will market Hoffmann Green’s 0% carbon cement clinker throughout Florida. In return for this industrial and technological transfer, Hoffmann Green will receive royalties generated by this licensing model.
